So glad all of you are coming to my birthday party.
Did Katherine tell you I am having hip surgery on Jan. 30th.
Have had a problem with my left hip for years and saw an othopedist recently who showed me the Xray of “bone on bone” with arthritis so it will only get worse. Decided to go for the hip replacement now while the hip is in relatively good shape. Such surgery has a 99% success ratio and this young doctor with Lee Leonard is reputed to be the best in the state…he assured me I will be playing golf again in 3 months so I feel good about it.
Otherwise my health is EXCELLENT…has a stress test last week with a heart doctor and he said I was 100% great so am good to go for another 34 years…God willing.
