Sustainability is important to Marcelle. She often works in materials like reclaimed woods, hand-tufted wool, and heirloom furniture paired with locally made, custom furniture, organic and sculptural in design. One of the sustainable homes designed by Marcelle won LEED-Platinum certification and is featured in the book Shades of Green, Tennessee.
Marcelle’s designs have been featured in Domino, Curbed, Nashville Interiors, NFocus, StyleBlueprint, Apartment Therapy and DesignSponge. She has won Best of Houzz every year since 2013 and is a featured Designer on Dering Hall. Earlier in her career, Marcelle worked for one of the world’s leading architecture firms. She was part of an award-winning team, whose modern and spa-like healthcare design was published nationwide.

Marcelle received an interior design degree from Watkins College of Art, Design and Film. She has accreditation through NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Designers Qualification) and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).
