A few weeks ago I stumbled across a maker’s paradise. Craft South is appropriately located on 12 south and is filled from top to bottom with beautiful retro style fabrics, yarns, wool, and a plethora of hand-crafted southern made goods.
Their HUGE wall of yarn is a color feast for the eyes!
We’ve been talking about finding inspiration “out in the wilds” and off the nets this week on my facebook page. This wool is just what I mean. What a dramatic and moody color palette for an interior.
These hand embroidered pillows are Boho beauties! The bold color palettes and patterns are striking and they are texturally enticing.
These whimsically patterned flour sack towels are handmade in Asheville, North Carolina from organic cotton with solvent free/non-toxic inks.
Beautiful handmade goods were everywhere I looked.
There was something beautiful to admire everywhere I looked. This clutch was created by the shop owner Anna Maria Horner. I love the color blocking!
Retro-styled fabrics in metallic geometrics, striking florals, and cutely kitschy prints are often hard to come across.
Craft South has nailed it in the fabric selection department!
They also offer carefully curated cool and warm bundles of fabric squares for quilting and other crafty needs.
The best part is they offer classes and workshops for both adults and children about everything from Embroidery to Knitting, Quilting, and Sewing it’s all covered.
Craft South is a charming local shop loaded with inspiration and community spirit. Stop by and check it out!
