The annual Lockeland Springs Home tour is a must see Holiday Tradition in East Nashville.
We have been lucky enough to have one of “our homes” (aka: A home we have done the interior design for) on the tour for the past few years.
1421 Eastland Ave, is owned by Laura and Larry Hawken and was built in 1917. This charming home features large windows with full-height shutters that harken back to earlier days when the only air-conditioning to be had was the occasional southern breeze. Thankfully, the Hawkens have the best of both worlds- beautiful windows and AC :).
